Verne Cox Mural

Verne Cox playground is a park in Pasaena, Texas that is designed to be accessible for children with physical disabilities.  The Pasadena parks department enlisted the help of Sam Rayburn High School artists to paint an 80ft long mural on the side of their building at the site.

Our students and teachers collaborated to design an image that represents the obstacles that children with disabilities face in their daily lives, and the way that friendship helps us all overcome our own difficulties.
